Job Description

This role within xiik's Email Marketing Solutions practice will work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to help optimize email and vertical marketing strategies and tactics. You must become an email marketing expert, if not already. The primary responsibility of the Consultant involves strategizing, leading and executing email marketing-related work. The Consultant serves as the manager and primary point of interaction with xiik's Account Services Team for all email deployment. This position is accountable for the accuracy, timeliness and consistency of all campaigns executed on behalf of the client. Consultants are expected to leverage email applications, knowledge of features, as well as business and domain expertise. The Consultant is looked to as both a source of leadership and a resource, providing a range of support for our growing email practice. Our work environment is fast-paced and deadline-focused. A successful Consultant operates efficiently in a demanding environment with composure and exemplary communication. While this position is primarily focused on email communications, projects often require evaluation of broader interactive and direct marketing programs.

Job Responsiblilites

  • Work with the client and key members of the Design, Deployment and Account Services teams to develop a client-specific set of workflows, documents, reporting schedules and service level agreements to support clients' ongoing campaign needs. This may include but is not limited to:
    • Client presentations
    • Campaign- and client-specific editorial calendars, including scheduled send times, client input and approval dates and other key time-based responsibilities for each party involved
    • Components and structure of client-specific custom reports
    • Receive data descriptions, data pull instructions and other data-related inputs from the client; communicate data counts, subscriber/segment information and other send-related data; and lead the process of correcting or clarifying perceived inaccuracies in that data
