Website: JunketProductions.com
Website Design/Development, 3D Video Animation, Interactive Movie Player
Junket Productions, Inc. is a New York-based producer of press junkets and satellite media tours. After nearly half a decade of being represented by an outdated and modest website, the organization came to xiik looking for a change that would tell their story, demonstrate their capabilities and highlight the high quality of their brand.
Our team developed a simple, yet engaging site that defines the company clearly, with minimal text and Flash effects. The main page showcases recent work, while internal pages include a video archive, an interactive timeline of their 30-year history, and a custom video consisting of live action, 2D artwork and 3D animation that demonstrates how a satellite media tour works.
Website: WaldenSchool.org
Website Design/Development, Content Management System, Survey Development/Analysis
Working with an aging design with limited functionality, the Walden School envisioned an updated web presence with an interactive experience to inform and excite applicants and donors. The existing site was content rich. Our challenge was to restructure the information architecture while bringing the summer music camp experience to life with evocative visuals. Their hands-on staff also needed to easily update content on the fly.
xiik developed a demographics-oriented navigation to lay out the numerous program components. Our design showcases their striking photo assets and employs color to both enliven and differentiate site divisions. The site is loaded with calls-to-action, the home page an invitation to dive deeper into press, events, e-signup and programming. Built in WordPress CMS, staff can refresh the site and create new landing pages as needed. The Walden School even has the option of embedding audio samples into their multiple program sliders to further bring the music experience to life.
Website: Closet Works Customer Map
Web Development
Closet Works asked xiik to create an interactive experience that would demonstrate to potential customers just how well Closet Works has saturated the Chicagoland market. The desire was to create instant credibility for folks unfamiliar with their services.
xiik designed and developed a Customer Map tool that enables site visitors to plug in their zip code and see for themselves all customers within a 5-mile radius. Customer information and address are left anonymous to protect privacy, but individual placemarks identify the collective presence that Closet Works has within a neighborhood. And with over 22,000 customers in the greater Chicago area, the visual effect of the map is immediate and impressive.
Print Design, HTML Email Design
Annual reports do not have a reputation for being fun to read. Walden School tasked xiik with creating a visually appealing, branded report that would interest donors without getting too lengthy. Above all, it needed to say "thank you". The client also sought to reduce print and mailing cost with a more eco-friendly email delivery.
xiik designed an 8-page print piece that utilizes the visual language of musical notation to simply say "thank you." The report incorporates program photography to highlight summer successes, and includes infographics that elegantly convey important facts & figures about Walden's financial outlook. The brand impression is an intersection of art, nature, community, and self-discovery. An HTML email accompanies the print design seamlessly, inviting supporters to read the report.
Website: TheSororityLife.com
Website Design/Development, Content Management System, Interactive Quiz
NPC asked us to bring a fresh design to their outreach sites, created to provide information to young women interested in sorority life. Three sites had been launched for these purposes, but NPC needed the disjointed sites to have more consistent branding and design, while making them easier to navigate.
We worked with NPC to overhaul the site navigation architecture and combined the three sites into one. TheSororityLife.com features profiles of actual sorority women, a "Sorority IQ Quiz" that reveals the truth about sorority life, e-newsletter subscription, and the latest news stories—all driven by a custom CMS that allows the admin to update content, navigation, and access data about site visitors.

xiik began by designing a vibrant, upbeat logo to drive the site design, a sleek yet friendly aesthetic incorporating product photography. The site's navigation is organized by demographic to tailor content, and the extensive product catalogs and photo galleries act not only as a valuable information resource, but a big boost to SEO. The Customers Near You interactive map lends instant credibility for prospects, and amongst loads of useful content, users are always one click from a consultation with the global mini-form.
Website: KilroysIndy.com
Website Design/Development, Marketing Consultation, Custom Photography, 360 (degree sign) Virtual Tour, Photo/Video Gallery Manager
Kilroy's is one of downtown Indianapolis' most popular venues. Anybody who went to Indiana University is well-versed in Kilroy's branding and their world famous stuffed breadsticks. The owners of the Indianapolis location approached us looking for a website that would express the restaurant as a fun place to go for drinks, but also a great place to watch football games, have dinner or for a girls' night out.
We did a heavy analysis of the competing restaurant/bars and focused on ways to position Kilroy's as the best. We featured their menu and drink specials online, brought our photographer in to take photos of their specialties, and created 360-degree tours of the space. We also integrated social media to their site and encouraged people to engage them in one or several of these modes. The result is an active site that they can be proud of and a more-satisfied clientele.
Print Design (tri-fold brochure)
Window solution company Midwest Marketing approached xiik in need of a simple way to reach prospective clients for their specialized product, the Madico SafetyShield Safety - Security Film, which prevents window shattering from explosions or natural disasters. The design needed to build upon their logo, accommodate a lot of content in a user-friendly fashion, and brand them as the experienced, trustworthy company they are.
xiik designed a tri-fold brochure that can be mailed alongside a personalized letter and/or left behind with new sales contacts as a standalone piece. Additionally, a design scheme has been executed that can be emulated on other product brochures to achieve a branded set suitable for a folder presentation.
Website: StudentAidServices.com

Student Aid Services needed a website for its Net Price Calculator, a technology for school financial aid offices. The site had to clearly showcase the product and its benefits, while establishing staff expertise and technical aptitude.
xiik designed a very clean layout with a striking graphic slider on the home page to illuminate product benefits, market share, and client satisfaction. Throughout: white papers, helpful ‘quick tips’ and testimonials convey both competency and service, guiding prospects to ultimately ‘Schedule a Demo.’ And with the Expression Engine content management system, SAS can update site content often, responding to changing institutional imperatives.

The main call-to-action: encouraging prospective members to join.
xiik designed a branded experience with an interactive Members Map that illustrates NRCO's national reach and identifies members’ energy specializations. The homepage’s striking feature banner immediately conveys their mission. Contact forms are strategically located to encourage engagement. Finally, staff have an easy-to-use Content Management System, allowing them to quickly refresh the site with new projects, slideshows and news that bring awareness of NRCO’s evolving initiatives to the public.

Website: Stiglmeier.com
Website Design/Development, Content Management System, E-Commerce Development
A previous client of ours–the Stiglmeier site was originally designed in '04 and was in need of a design overhaul, updating it for modern browsers and resolution. We aimed for an improved user experience on the site, while considering that this popular site already had a lot of customers who were used to the design and functionality.
Our design team worked to renew and strengthen the Stiglmeier brand. The new design warmed up the site and increased exposure to the variety of products available. New search options were added to the global navigation, allowing customers to easily find products by category or name. An e-newsletter template was created for special offers and promotions.
Website: SororityParents.com
Website Design/Development, Content Management System, Social Media/Blog Integration
SororityParents.com was created to provide parents of sorority members with a place to discuss their concerns, share stories, and offer advice. The existing site lacked a message to new sorority parents that there are other parents "just like them" who understand their concerns. It also needed an attractive design that supported the NPC branding and engaged visitors.
The redesigned site features targeted user paths to invite parents with different concerns to engage in the discussion. The blog was expanded to allow blog filtering by tag, date, or keyword and easily submit questions to NPC. The new design is consistent with the other outreach site: thesororitylife.com. Sorority Parents is a WordPress-driven blog that has customized administrative control over blog posts, comments, contributors, and page content.
Website: IndyHumane.org
Web Development
IndyHumane's rebranding called for a new web presence to enhance its animal welfare outreach in the local community. The nonprofit, active in social media, needed a digital home base to organize its messaging, easily connect users with animals in need, and conduct fund raising activities-- integrating forms and pages from third parties in a branded, seamless way.
Utilizing assets from IndyHumane's design team, xiik built the site on the Expression Engine publishing platform, whose Content Management System delivers complete editing control over site content like featured animals, news and success stories. The site is also highly social: visitors can leave comments, subscribe to the RSS feed, and share content on countless social media sites. xiik has seamlessly integrated important external functions like the PetPoint database, Convio donation forms, newsletter signup, and ecommerce. Customizable callouts appear in the sidebars to highlight important campaigns or events and get visitors involved.

After conducting research on the target audience and appropriate media venues for reaching each segment, we constructed a plan for marketing eDentist, while growing the product and national brand. We have recently begun implementing the plan and continue to oversee the development and implementation of each phase.

Our goal was to maintain the fun and color of the previous site, while adding a fresh look with an improved shopping experience. The site features an easy-to-use admin panel that allows the owners to create unlimited products and categories, and update site copy. Completed orders are automatically sent to the fulfillment agent with pre-printed UPS tracking labels. Additionally, the site supports coupons and fixed-duration or ongoing sales. Create an easily expandable e-book store for Kay Whitaker's fiction novel, Between Dreams, that incentivizes purchase through charitable proceeds. The web presence also needed to make an inviting pitch to other aspiring authors to join their publishing platform.
The site's main page features 4 javascript panels that showcase Sterling Hope's ebook, their giving model, the charities they serve, and an invitation to authors. The vote and donation counters on all pages reinforce their unique concept and drive interaction. Social media widgets were also integrated into most pages to encourage content sharing.
Website: Members.MOtion1.com
Website Design/Development, Content Management System, Multi-Role Login Authorization
MOtion1 is a group of private medical practices; due to the wide range of roles within the staffs of member companies, the organization requested a more complex Content Management System. This system would need to contain roles, limiting access to sensitive areas of the site depending on whether the user was authorized to view it.
For this site redesign, we created a content management system that allowed the clients to add new products and information to their member support site, especially a sizable sales force. This CMS also allows the client to add items with a secondary navigation system. We developed a multi-role login authorization to solve the access issue between multiple departments.
Website : IndyMuttStrut.org
Website Design/Development, Convio Integration
For IndyHumane's 8th annual and single largest fundraiser, Mutt Strut, they needed a fresh look to engage returning attendees without creating a completely unfamiliar web experience. Moreover, they asked for two things: make the what/where/when obvious on every page and inform visitors about the myriad ways they can get involved beyond event registration.
Building upon the vibrant 2011 branding, the refreshed site communicates the most important basics very well -- via large rotating home page banner and a universal sidebar banner on internal pages. The navigation is uncomplicated, quickly guiding prospective attendees from learning about the event, to registering, to donating, and perhaps even becoming a volunteer or sponsor. The site seamlessly integrates several Convio forms, newsworthy stories from their relaunched IndyHumane.org site, and a photo review of last year's adorable pups and happy owners.
